15-gallon questions.
How fast will it thicken into a solid wall?
At 2.5-ft spacing with decent watering, most hedges read solid within the first year and fully knitted after that — Clusia grows moderately but densely. Tighter 2-ft spacing closes faster and costs more per foot.
Should I buy 15-gallon or 25-gallon?
If you can wait a season, the 15 stretches your budget; if the neighbors’ new second story can’t wait, the 25 arrives at 6.5 ft. Our guide walks the math per 100 ft — or ask and we’ll tell you straight.
Can I mix sizes in one order?
Yes — many buyers run 25s along the patio sightline and 15s down the property line. The tier is based on total plant count, so mixing never costs you your discount.
